Prior to Service

To ensure a smooth transition without delays and or hiccups to your work , we’ve outlined the following info and steps that should be taken prior to either booking your appt.  and or having us arrive to do the actual work.

PRIOR TO BOOKING THE APPT : (BATHTUBS)

1.  Is the Bathtub Porcelain or Fiberglass ( if fiberglass , is it a standup shower stall or tub and wall combo) ?

2. Has your bathtub been painted or refinished previously? ( very important ) ( chemical strippingagent and labor would be involved)
3. Is there any damage requiring repairs for rust chips or cracks?

4. Does your tub plumbing have a slow drip or leak from either the tub spout or shower head?( if so, this issue must be abated to avoid delays )

5. Are the shower doors/frames on the unit? if so are they being replaced with new or removed permanently? ( important to know )

6. Is the sink vanity cabinet and or toilet less than or more than 12 ” from the tub.
( in our many years of experience 12 ” or more is sufficient to overcome any obstacles or impediments to refinishing your tub)

7. Is your bathroom currently or will be under construction at the time of the appt?
( if so it must be finished prior to our arrival, in some instances we can work around issues , discuss them with us to make sure)

8. Always attach 2 pics inside and out of the tub ( to determine layout ,style  and condition of surface )

9. In most cases we may need a window outside the bathroom to ventilate the fumes, please ensure we have a clear path to the nearest window and that the screen can either be removed or put up an affixed screen not able to be remove may pose a problem )

WHAT WE NEED TO COMPLETE YOUR TASK :
1.We will require heat hot water electricity and lighting to complete your job
2. The night before our arrival turn the heat up to 70 degrees to warm up the surface (early spring , late fall and winter)

(then when were done, close door turn on vent, put towel at bottom of door to prevent fumes from escaping ,
leave vent on over night and continue heat 70 degrees till the 48 hour cure is complete)
